Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
To be eligible for a return or refund, your item must meet the following conditions:
The item is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.
The return request is made within 14 days of receipt of the item.
The item is in its original packaging, with all components included.
You provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
Non-Returnable Items:
Certain items cannot be returned or refunded, including:
- Custom-made or bespoke fabrication orders.
- Items that have been used, damaged, or modified after delivery.
- Items that are not in their original packaging.
- Products that were marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase.c

How to Initiate a Return
If you wish to return an item, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Contact Us – Email keith@murphyengineering.ie within 14 days of receiving your item, stating your reason for the return and attaching proof of purchase.
2️⃣ Receive Return Instructions – Our customer service team will provide return shipping details, including the return address.
3️⃣ Package & Ship the Item – Securely pack the item in its original packaging and send it to the provided return address.
4️⃣ Return Processing & Inspection – Once we receive the item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Refund Process & Timeframes
If your return is approved:
Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days from the date we receive and inspect the returned item.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is processed.
If your return is rejected (e.g., due to damage, missing parts, or signs of use), we will notify you via email, and the item may be returned to you at your expense.
Exchange Policy
We allow exchanges for defective or damaged items only. If you receive a damaged or defective product:
1️⃣ Email keith@murphyengineering.ie within 48 hours of receiving the product.
2️⃣ Attach photos of the damage or defect along with your order number.
3️⃣ If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item and send a replacement free of charge.
Return Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrectly delivered.
- Faulty or Incorrect Items: If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, Murphy Engineering will cover return shipping costs.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order before the item has been shipped by emailing keith@murphyengineering.ie.
Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
If your order has already been shipped, you must follow the return process after receiving the item.
Faulty or Incorrect Products
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will provide a full refund, exchange, or repair service, depending on the situation.
You must return the faulty item before a replacement or refund is processed.
